CBD FAQ

Cannabidiol (CBD), is a promising phytocannabinoid found in cannabis and/or agricultural hemp. It has been recognized for its human and animal health benefits.

Yes, our CBD products are a 100% naturally-occurring chemical compound that comes directly from the cannabis plant. It is not synthetically made.

Scientifically, industrial Hemp and Marijuana are the same plant, with a genus and species name of Cannabis Sativa. They have a drastically different genetic profile though. Industrial Hemp is always a strain of Cannabis sativa, while marijuana can be Cannabis sativa, Cannabis indica, or Cannabis ruderalis. Marijuana has varying levels of CBD and high levels of THC. Hemp, on the other hand, naturally has a very high amount of CBD in most instances, and only a trace amount of THC.

No. Our products are made from industrial hemp, which only has trace amounts of THC, meaning there is no risk of becoming intoxicated from utilizing our hemp-derived/CBD products.

Most CBD products are taken orally via oil drops that are placed under the tongue and held for 30 seconds before swallowing. Topical creams and ointments are also effective, as is smoking or vaporizing CBD-rich hemp flower.

CBD oil is a liquid cannabis extract that contains pure CBD. It’s commonly made from seeds of the hemp plant (CBD hemp oil) and the stem of industrial hemp.

CBD is 100% legal in all but 3 states; Idaho, Nebraska, and South Dakota.

Idaho state law outlines that any hemp-derived CBD product must meet certain conditions to be considered as legal. Unlike other states with the 0.3% THC restriction, in Idaho CBD products must contain 0% THC.

Any CBD product sold in Nebraska must contain less than 0.3% THC as well as meet certain testing, delivery, and manufacturing requirements.

Industrial hemp and CBD oil in all forms are illegal in the state of South Dakota

Absolutely! CBD isolate is especially good for baked goods and CBD oil is a fantastic cooking ingredient.

Pain and inflammation are arguably the main reasons people turn to topical CBD products. The best part about applying CBD externally is that it offers localized relief. Whether it’s your knees, shoulder, back, or another painful, inflamed, or sore area, topical CBD products are a great alternative to CBD oil when you have muscle or joint pain in a specific part of the body.

Our CBD products have been 3rd-party lab tested for purity, potency and safety (see results here). However, low quality CBD products may contain more traces of THC than they claim, in which case it is possible for a screening to pick up on the drug. Research has shown that people who consume 6 mg of THC per day have a 25% chance of failing a drug test. This translates to about 2,000 mg per day of CBD oil with a THC content of 0.3% or less.
